New iPod U2 from Apple

Another year, another U2 iPod from Apple.

A new model of the U2 iPod is in the market, which gives you 10 more gigabytes of space at a low price. The new update of the U2 iPod was launched by Apple on Tuesday.

While the earlier U2 iPod offered a capacity of 20GB for the special edition it was priced at $349. It was launched in 2004 and could carry 5000 songs. The new update to the U2 iPod can carry almost 7500 songs at a price of $329. The new U2 iPod will display video and photographs.

An offer for the U2 fans from Apple is already in place. The U2 users can get 30 minutes of video from iTunes music store by using a coupon code and this can be redeemed electronically. There is not much difference in the design of the new iPod with the older one. The new case is made of black stainless steel and has a red click wheel.

Using the new iPod U2, podcasts can be downloaded to the device. this functionality was there in the older model too. Apple claims that the battery life of the new iPod is about 14 hours.
